Dr. Norman was born and raised in Brunswick and went on to attend the University of Maine, graduating in 1998 with a degree in Animal Science. He then spent 10 years in Louisiana managing 2 of the 3 LSU dairy farms and making both some of the highest producing dairies in the state, despite discontinuing the use of artificial growth hormone! During his cow years at LSU, he earned a Master’s degree in lactation physiology/mastitis and went on to graduate from LSU with his Doctorate of Veterinary medicine in 2009. He also learned how to make an amazing chicken and andouille gumbo. From LSU, he went on to New Jersey where he completed a wonderful yet rigorously challenging internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Garden State Veterinary Specialists. Most recently he was practicing in Bangor- he is excited about being closer to home and in his hometown after 15 years away.
